"Don’t recommend. Not professional and unfriendly ( specially the front desk)"

"The front desk seems to be racist and biased against black and brown people. They also refuse to do extractions and try to force unnecessary oral surgery and removal of wisdom teeth that cause no problems. They claim to have no appointments for work you need and insurance covers, will ignore calls when you ask for appointments, leaving you in pain with an infected tooth and NO anti-biotics. Yet, they have plenty of appointments slots that are paid in cash from their sliding scale. An infected tooth can cause sepsis and that can be fatal. They don't care."

"I am changing my review. It is not just the front desk that is a problem. The doctors themselves are. They refused to extract my relative's badly decayed tooth and referred him to oral surgery, tried to force him to remove perfectly good wisdom teeth, and refused to even prescribe antibiotics. The oral surgeon said they were supposed to remove the tooth as an emergency extraction and if it was infected they should have prescribed antibiotics and then extracted, not referred to surgery for a regular tooth. They did not do any of what the oral surgeon said they should have and stopped returning his calls. They also try to force deep cleaning on their patients who are mostly low income, knowing insurance WON'T cover it and won't do a regular cleaning if you don't get a deep clean. Then they try to force you to use their sliding scale payments to put more money in their pockets for more cleanings. They will make plenty of appointments for out of pocket work but refuse to do work that Medicaid covers because it is needed, like emergency extractions. Refusing to remove a badly decayed tooth, refusing to prescribe antibiotics on an infected tooth, refusing to do anything except out of pocket services endangers patients' lives. Yeah, its not just the front desk. The whole office is rotten. Other patients have told us they had the same horrible experience. Run!"

"I haven't been a patient but I was looking for a new dentist for my daughter. I think this facility needs to address the issues of the previous reviews because clearly multiple people have had bad experiences and I doubt they're all in cahoots with one another. Would have loved to have my child's dentist close to home but the reviews turned me away. Is St. Luke's or the facility itself addressing the problem? Have the receptionists been re-trained in customer service, or replaced by people that know how to treat others with respect? This is unfortunate."

"I've been going here since I was 3 and the people here are so nice. I never had a problem with them before. I don't know what happened with the other reviewers but my experience is different. They weren't racist. I recommend them. They are in the second floor of Santander."
