"Last year (2020) when the dance studio was shut down we had already paid for 3 competitions and our recital costumes ( recital costumes totaled $ 425) we were told by studio owner , Rose Taylor , we were already registered for all three competitions and costumes for recital were order. When competitions were cancelled we were told the competition companies were not offering refunds but only offering credits for the following competition season. When asked about recital costumes I was given three different stories on those, 1- they were in process and will be delivered ( which I said ok no problem I will pick them up when they come in) then story #2 Sorry they stopped all ordering we weren’t able to order anything then story #3 was well were able to get creative movement class but no others so we will give a credit for next year .....( I have screen shots of messages proving all of this btw) then come to find out after investigating with 2 of the three competition owners that we were “ registered “ for we never were... ( meaning the studio) and one of the companies even said if we had been we would have been offered a credit OR money refund.... the studio’s owner has a hard time keeping her stories straight! I have decided to leave the studio , which was our dance home for 5+years. The instructors there are amazing but I would definitely watch your money and where it goes!"
