"Everything tastes and smells like laundry detergent. Just tried a DG hot dog bun, smells/tastes like fabric softener, inedible. Got some paper plates couple weeks ago, heavily reeks like detergent, unusable. Got a bag of charcoal recently, it's unusable. Have you ever burnt laundry soap? Gross. Not sure what's going on with this store, but ya'll gotta take care of the "detergent stinking everything up" issue. If something spilled, clean it up. PS: Most of the pics on the top of this maps listing are not the market street DG. This place is dirty and unstocked, Def not the "brand new" DG found in the pics above. PS PS: I realize DG doesn't pay its workers a fair wage. Perhaps if they earned more they would put a little more effort into the store. Just a thought."

"Sarah is so kind and takes the time to strike up a conversation with every customer, even when she is the only one working in the store. You can tell she clearly cares for the customers and has special connections with her regulars. She works so hard and still has a smile at the end of the day. DG give this girl a raise, shes shows A++++++ customer service at the Warren, PA Market Street plaza store."

"I have never seen a DG out of stock of items or seen so many products in the process of being put on the shelf in my life, and i worked as a delivery driver for Dollar General stores for a while, this is the least prepared store in my more than 100 store locations visits! Now that a friend is no longer working here I avoid it like its not even there."

"Cashier was friendly, but very slow. Cashier asked the customer checking out "if she wanted the hanger" when she rang up a shirt, the customer said no thank you. Well guess what the cashier did 3 more times for a total of 4 separate times, "would you like the hanger"!!!!! So I am checking out and "I have 2 big jars of pickles, a 20oz bottle of water, and a 20oz bottle of Mt Dew", cashier asked her normal employee questions, then she asks me "if I wanted the two the drinks left out" I answered "no thank you that'll really be a struggle trying to open the two doors to leave" she replied "I'll double bag it, I am technically not aloud, I got screamed at for wasting bags and that an extra bag costs the company $0.03" I answered "maybe they should have thicker bags and that doesn't make me want ti come back to this store knowing that"."
