Golden Pavilion Restaurant

"Chines Food has been lacking here lately and I have been shopping for a good Chinese restaurant between Bowie and Upper Marlboro. One night after a long workday I was really in the mood, so I searched for a restaurant on my way home and these folks came up with 4 stars. This was my first time and I said well let me check them out. The food was way overpriced. For a combination Low Mein and a seafood Pad Thai it was 35$ and the food was Mid at best. I didn't go to bed hungry but first and last time. I will keep looking I miss my Chinese food."

"The waitress looked at me and my girlfriend like we were supposed to introduce ourselves when it’s their duty to. It took me about 15-20 minutes to receive my coke soda that I had asked for. Our food didn’t come out together. My girlfriend received her food first and I waited an additional 10 minutes to get my order. When my order arrived , I took my silverware out. There were food bits and stains on my fork. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get the waitress attention to receive new silverware, just so I could eat. When I asked for a to go box, the waitress gave me two boxes. One box was fine and another box had a woman’s hair in it. I knew it wasn’t my girlfriends because she gave the boxes to me. The sushi did not look fresh at all. Restaurant is located at 6938 Laurel Bowie Rd, Bowie, MD 20715"

"We carried out. The atmosphere and vibe were good while we were waiting on our food. Staff pleasant and above average attentive. A little pricey but usually well worth it."

"Food is just ok. Quality of sushi has declined recently . Service also has declined. I don't think some of their servers have ever dined in a sit down restaurant on their own to understand the basic elements of serving a customer."

"We came here for. Sunday lunch. We haven’t been here for a couple of years now. We had previously had a good experience in this restaurant but this time wasn’t good. The udon chicken is so bland that we cannot eat it. We tried adding soy sauce and pepper in it but didn’t improve the taste. We told the female server but she just recommended to add what condiments we have on the table. We mentioned to her that we already did that and asked if there’s anyway they can provide any sauce or spices from their kitchen to improve the bland taste. She didn’t provide any remedy. The portion of the rice was quite small than we used to have but roast pork is still tasty. We won’t be back anytime soon. There are many Asian restaurants in the area with good customer service and better taste."
