"In Eldersburg, there are a few choices for Asian style food. Most offer sushi, Chinese/Thai staples, and even Japanese. Asian Taste has been around for at least 10+ years now. Other than a coat of paint a few years ago, the restaurant has not seen an update. Its decor is rather bland and unappealing. This probably doesn't generally matter as their business is generally fulfilling carryout orders. No alcohol license, so there is no beer to go with dinner. The sushi I sampled on this occasion, Asian Taste Roll and a special offering, Spicy Mountain Roll, were prepared promptly and delivered on separate wooden planks. These rolls, according to the menu description, were very familiar and fairly common among the local restaurants. The taste was okay but somewhat fishy. Compared to other local choices, they were not on par. Maybe I'm used to a different flavor, but these were not pleasing. I also ordered the General Tso's chicken with fried rice. The chicken was prepared fairly well, not too bready and slightly crispy. The fried rice was okay but not great. Overall, the restaurant is okay, but better choices are available in the immediate area."
"So disappointed. Sushi was mush. General Tso chicken was over cooked, thus extremely tough. Sauce for Shuman tasted like bottled BBQ sauce."
"Wonderful, family owned little restaurant. They give extremely generous portions, quality delicious food & quality service. Absolutely love ordering from here. Dine in, takeout or delivery, they’re spot on every single time. Did sushi to go today. I’ve had their Singapore noodles, peanut chicken, and a wide variety of items on their menu. Everything has been delicious. The staff is excellent too."
"Driving on rt. 70 is hungry business! Thank goodness I went off the road a few miles to find this nice place. They serve brown rice too."
"Pros - It might not be one of your top of the line sushi but they do it as good as any. They have an attentive staff and very friendly. Great delivery service and never once gotten cold food. Cons- Hidden and easily missed if you aren’t from the area. Menu is overwhelmingly large could definitely be simplified. Decor needs an upgrade and some of the tables aren’t stable."
