"The pizza was OK. There was nothing about New York about it. I’m from New York. I would not recommend the mozzarella sticks. They are horrible. They might look good, but they are not good at all. The service was amazing. The owner was very friendly."

"Pizza was sooo bland. I really wanted to like this place but the pizza barely has any flavor! Got a slice of cheese and slice of Buffalo chicken. We were greeted upon entering which was nice but then it took several minutes for someone to take our order. Guy ringing us up used his bare hands on the register and card machine, then got our pizza to put in the oven (not with his hands), then sprinkled cilantro on the other pizzas with his bare hands… no hand washing in between. Gross!"

"We used to loooove Sonny’s, but the last two times we visited the pizza was undercooked and disgusting. I gave Sonny’s my last try today. We ordered an extra cheese half pepperoni pie and the cheese came out a weird curdled yet gloppy texture. Really disgusting. The pepperoni side of the pie wasn’t even cooked all the way through. I used to love this place but they’ve traded in quality for cheap labor who don’t know how to do NY style pizza. My husband warned me that Sonny’s had gone down, but I wanted to give it one last try. I wish I hadn’t. A grocery store frozen pizza would have been better than this garbage. After the lunch I received today, I’m parting ways with Sonny’s for good and suggest you save your money and go somewhere else. You can’t really see it in the pic but the pizza is barely cooked. It went into the garbage. $16 wasted. It wasn’t even edible."

"This place was an accident. We were supposed to go to a different place but ended up giving this place a try because it was there. This has become our new spot. The mozzarella sticks are hand cut, the cheese steaks are the best anywhere. I'll put this cheese steak against any place, philly included. The pizza is great. There wasn't a bad thing we tried. If you are near by give it a go, you won't be disappointed"

"This is not NY style pizza by any means. Not a hint of crisp or flavor to be found and underbaked (even when we asked for it well done). The "Detroit style" was slightly better. The crust for this one was actually very good but was overshadowed by the bad sauce and cheese and the poor execution. The pizza man struggled to get it out of the pan resulting in a broken crust and the (way too much) cheese spilling over the side."
