New York Pizzeria

"I had eaten here about 10 years ago and wasn't impressed at that time. I had gotten a cheese steak sub and it was quite bland. Recently, I decided to try them again since some friends of ours really love it. I am glad I gave them another try. I have ordered many carry out pizzas in the last year and they are delicious! I have gotten cheese, veggie, sausage/pepperoni. Their pizzas have been consistently good and they have about 4-5 sizers to chose from. Also had their meatball sub which was quite good. So glad I gave it another try and intend to continue to patronize them. EDIT: I have been ordering carryout food from this restaurant for awhile now. However, My latest order of carry out pizza was horrible. The pizza was partially burnt with black crust on top. But essentially, it was completely bland and boring. No flavor whatsoever, despite having several toppings. My mom also ate part of the pizza and after 1 bite announced that it was tasteless. There might as well been no cheese on it at all since you couldn't taste any of it. Tossed the leftover slices in the garbage can. I am very seriously going to think twice about ordering pizza from this establishment again; at least until I hear of some improvement."

"What a fantastic place! Nicely decorated dining room with tables and booths all well maintained and clean. Loved the vindaloo wings and thought that the mango, mild, bay were also excellent. My wife thinks that their pizza is the best in all surrounding counties, she makes a 20 minute drive to have lunch here. Dinner options include chicken, veal, and steak as well as pasta dishes. They offer a few wines and sweeten the deal by offering happy hour Monday through Friday"

"We’ve gotten takeout in the past from here and it’s been good. This time we ordered two Cobb salads and they were both delicious and bountiful. We ordered it with iceberg lettuce and have enough left over for at least two more salads. Great job folks! We’ll be back."

"Service was perfectly acceptable takeout service, especially for being busy. The hostess who was seating people was very friendly and eager to see me before she knew I was there for takeout. Ordered the pickup special - a large cheese pizza, and very reasonably priced. I want to start off by saying that the sauce is obviously soft that they use or pasta as well and was absolutely delicious. Really maybe the best sauce I've tasted on a pizza in a long time. I definitely recommend this place for their marinara... BUT nothing about this pizza was "New York", lol The crust was good, but not that thin, chewy New York style crust. And the cheese was good, but it wasn't that greasy, orange New York style cheese. Which I imagine isn't what most people are looking for, but I was hopeful given the name."

"Friday was our first time ordering this resturant. I ordered pickup online at 5:27 and due to me driving right past the location I got there after 6pm. My wife's shrimp salad wrap was ready , but the pizza wasn't ready. Which was understandable, because the place was really busy. I saw a guy eating wings at a table and immediately wished I ordered some, because the guy looked like he was enjoying them. I left around 615 to drive back to owings mills. The pizza was still warm. My son gave it a 8.5 out of 10 on his pizza scale. We will definitely order from here again. We may dine in instead."
