"This place is amazing. The decoration is beautiful and loved the Japanese music, makes the perfect atmosphere. We try 3 appetizers the Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki and the pork dumplings. Sushi we tried the Happy Roll, Ocean roll and the special roll of the day Sumo. Ramen the Karaage Ramen and the Shrimp Tempura Ramen. EVERYTHING it was fresh and delicious. The waiter Hector went far and beyond in his service and took the time to explain the menu and give us recommendations. As first visitors that never have been before in a Ramen place it was very helpful. The service was quick. The robot helped Hector to serve and also to sing Happy Birthday to my daughter. Thanks Hector and Robot we had a blast!!"
"Came in on a humbug; was greeted by the atmosphere and decor. Akita gives a modern traditional vibe with a great open and airy feel. My waiter was very pleasant and assisted me on making some great choices. Food: food was very flavorful and done nice; ramen is top notch for not being a dim sum. All in all I will definitely have to bring my wife next time"
"Akira Ramen & Izakaya - first time here, and loved it! Ordered a few things we had never tried before. The Bonito flake on our appetizer was a wild experience for sure. And it's always fun to have a robot deliver your food!"
"Seriously some of the best food I’ve had in Maryland. First off, the staff is so friendly and inviting, it was our first time there (and definitely not our last) and they made us feel very welcomed. The ambiance of the restaurant is so calm and just a great place to eat for lunch or dinner or a date night. We ordered the Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki, Chashu Bun, the Salmon Lover’s Sushi, and the Akira Volcano Ramen, and for dessert we ordered the Taiyaki. I cannot even begin to put into words how amazing everything was. The flavor of everything was absolutely exceptional, 10/10. I would give this place 6 out of 5 stars if I could lol. We will definitely be back and cannot wait!"
