"To start off, my friend has a $120 gift card that they will not honor because they switched owners! I understand you had a sign saying that after January 1st you would no longer accept gift cards, but why not? My friend doesn’t come regularly so she missed the allotted time. Second, they also switched who they purchase the Lemon Cake and Chocolate Cake from, not good at all! We got our dessert “to go” and the Lemon Cake was so small. For a local business, you would think they would want to keep customers coming back."
"For years my wife and I have been trying to fit Paradiso into our rotation of special occasion restaurants. That's what I always thought it was based on the menu and prices. Nope. Casual dining food (at fine dining prices), not prepared in a way that respects the product. Think mozzarella squares on clams casino. Another example in Westminster where all the pieces are there to put out really good food, and falling short. The service was slow, and a drink refill had to be requested twice. The second try was 20 minutes after the first. You were apparently out of martini glasses. Huh One good thing came out of the meal. I'll be making a dill pickle soup. Great idea, but yours was a major disappointment."
"I was kind of underwhelmed by Paradiso. Their menu looked fantastic and they make a good old fashioned. But the food just wasn’t worth the cost. I ordered the lasagna and expected a thick slice with a hearty marinara overtop but what I got was kind of mushy and the sauce was really runny. It just wasn’t worth $18. My wife loved her meal though, so at the end of the day, that was all that mattered."
"Lawrence is awesome! We’ve been in several times. He always has a great story or ten (which we love) and also has amazing recommendations. It’s a fun atmosphere, fabulous cocktails, and delicious food. We highly recommend. Love that Lawrence knows us and remembers the details."
"Food was good, not a huge menu selection but had a variety of Italian options. Atmosphere was nice, had a fireplace upstairs. Very pricey for the amount of food you receive. I'm not a huge Italian fan but I did like my meal. For the price and menu options I probably wouldn't eat here again but if you love Italian and a classier dine out experience, this is the place for you!"
