"Great atmosphere, park is kept cleanly. Has bathrooms, and the museum will fill your water bottle for free. Loved it! There are also snacks & drinks available for purchase which is GREAT with kids!"

"There is something magical about this place. I've felt that way since I was a kid. Used to bike here after school to ride the trails, explore the woods, throw rocks in the river. Turned 30 this year and went back to visit while I was in town. It's a lot cleaner now, but still holds that same magic."

"Nice walk. The tour and museum were closed, but we enjoyed reading the information about the canals and did a great walk along the canal up to the river and canal keepers house. Loved the shade. There is a great playground, picnic grounds, pavilion and sample parking."
