"We originally stayed in at Traditions On The Lake in August 2021 and returned July 2023 for a relaxing family vacation. While convenient, the house is right along US 219 and the road noise may be a concern, you get used to it and just enjoy lake life. The house has received a full Kitchen reno since we last stayed with all of the necessary kitchen items. The rest of the house is nice, open and roomy for a family to get together. The decks and outdoor seating are relaxing and offer nice views of the lake while offering shade. The back yard is a long grassy slope that's easily walkable (Compared to other lakeside houses that have stairs with 100+ steps) If you like Sunrises, this offers great views to enjoy the morning brew as the sun rises over the mountain to the east. Our family would definitely return to this house! There's a few things that need to be on the owner's punch list: 1) The poles on the dock lean to the docking side (left side if you are on land looking at the dock) and this caused damage to the canopy of our pontoon boat. You wouldn't think this is a big deal but the breeze and wake of other boats make this a difficult docking experience. 2) The downstairs living area has poor HVAC, at times it felt like it was not working."
"Meh. It's a fine house, but I heard from a realtor that it should have new owners soon. The house has tremendous potential with having direct lake access, but it definitely needs updating. With those updates, it could be even nicer. It would be interested to see if the new owners do the same updates that my wife and I were discussing."
