"Usually not too busy but you can usually get a small pick up game going. Courts are pretty dusty though which makes it kinda hard to hoop because you’re just sliding around. Other than the dust the courts are nice and the hoops are nice too, two courts with 6 hoops on each side and a track on the outside. Very nice."

"Overall a great gym, kind staff, but during the winter, there is conflicts with the gym/ basketball area that can deter my interest to go to the gym. But during the summer Gary J Arthur offer an amazing deal for teens that let them come from 5-8pm on fridays by themselves to use the basketball court, table tennis and game room. I have loved my subscription at Gary J Arthur, but i feel that the conflicts with the gym deter younger members."

"Howard county is beyond greedy - one month membership is $50 for a tiny weight room and no pool. If you want to pay yearly, your only option is to prepay the full $375 amount - you can’t do it month to month anymore even for the yearly contract"

"This is s very nice, well appointed, community center that also caters to seniors. There are many ongoing events just about everyday (a bit slower due to the pandemic). My wife and I go there for the drop-in Pickleball Tues and Thurs 12 noon until 2:30pm. The have a beautiful gym with a hard rubber floor well lined for Pickleball and can set up as many as 6 nets. The cost is $2.50 per person (you can also use the track lanes for walking and they are also set-up for indoor basketball). On Fridays from 12 noon to 2:30pm, the have beginner introduction to Pickleball - $2.50 pp and includes the use of the facility's rackets/paddles. The facility has restrooms, showers, and lockers. The only food and drink that are available are in the vending machines (there is a Highs gas station/Mini Mart less than a quarter mile North of the facility if you need a little more substantial food and drink). My wife and I came here for the beginner lesson and have been playing at least 1 day a week for the last 2 months. Everyone here has been friendly and encouraging."
