"We had a great dinner tonight. My first time there, and I will definitely be going back. Carrie took very good care of us throughout the meal, and the chef - Chris - came out and introduced himself. It was very easy to see why so many people say such wonderful things about this place. It is quiet and out of the way - a bit tough to get to this time of year, but definitely worth the effort. The food was extraordinary!"
"What a phenomenal meal. Carrie was fantastic, very welcoming and efficient. Chris, the chef, clearly knows what he is doing and cares deeply about what he puts out. First time in quite a while I have seen the chef take the time mid service to walk the tables and check in on everyone. Definitely worth battling the muddy roads to get there."
"We were only there for dinner but WONDERFUL! Its fall so the drive there was fantastic: color and contrast. Once enter the dining room, you know you are ready for a Vermont treat and it starts with a conversation and welcoming hospitality. The food is hearty and flavorful served professionally: nothing exciting but that is not why we are there. We both were impressed with the freshness. Suggest have the bean soup and the bread pudding. Go back? Absolutely!"
