"As someone with agoraphobia, social anxiety, and no vehicle, I find it less than ideal that Shaw's doesn't offer their delivery service in this area... But their pickup service is the next best thing. Ordering is always a fairly painless process, with plenty of open time slots and orders are always ready quickly. (A huge contrast with my experiences using the equivalent service at Hannaford) Bristol is also super walkable. It may be a mile walk one way, but it's a hundred times easier than the mile or so between my old residence and the Middlebury Shaw's, which involved a couple steep hills and an absurdly dangerous multi-lane street crossing."

"Great change in deli picked up chicken tenders Twice in last two weeks. Nice and fresh. The hot food is usually hit or miss. New gentlemen working great work ethic. Hope they recognize his effort."

"This was a great spot for grab and go lunch. The manager is unprofessional. She instigated a problem with another customer who spoke to me that was her friend. The cashier who wore a foot cast is always polite, welcoming, and willing to help. She should be promoted to train her managers and coworkers. Her customer service is excellent. She moves the register line quickly. Her smile is consistent."

"It has what you need for last minute items and it’s convenient. I’m giving 3 stars due to customer service from some of the cashiers. A simple greeting or occasional willingness to help (of course, keeping COVID protocol in mind) would improve this store."

"It’s fine. Has the basics but not that many specialty items. Pretty good wine selection though for the size of the store. If you are used to stores in bigger cities you will be disappointed but it serves a purpose for residents of Bristol, South Starksboro, and Lincoln who need a place to get food without driving really far away."
