"What a treasure trove of rare finds for low prices. They have old windows, doors, floorboards, railings, door knobs, sinks, tubs, and so much more. Plus a tool library and an extremely knowledgeable staff who are eager to help. I love going here every so often."

"The architectural parts warehouse is a true hidden gem, which is ironic since their goal is to salvage and preserve the beauty of the capital region's older "parts" so a new generation can rediscover that beauty and give it purpose again. I have found odds and ends for so many gifts, DIYs, repairs, and countless pieces that have become staples in our home. A day in their warehouse is like a being a kid at Disneyland!! Dan and Dave are always incredible and I look forward to chatting with them every visit! Do yourself a favor and take a trip! You won't regret it."

"Albany was a Dutch colony and you can see historic Dutch style homes. Most of these homes are in bad shape and Historic Albany Foundation preserves and protects buildings that have architectural, historic or civic value, by providing technical assistance, education, and advocacy. They do have a warehouse where you can buy old items on sale. If you would like to restore something that is beat up and has history and looks antique, you may find it here. I have been here a few times and they had cool stuff that I loved, however nothing caught my eye this time around. They did sell homes but I couldn't find much. I had a good business relationship with the former ED, Susan Holland as I was there Relationship manager at the bank. Susan educated me about being green and using wooden windows rather than vinyl."

"If you are renovating an old house this is a great place to go. Their stock is limited but what they have they have a good selection of. Doors, windows and that elusive molding."
