"Price compare before going with these guys. I have mixed feelings about Erie and will probably shop around a bit more. They happened to be a key supplier for a certain stone veneer I needed. Thus, I had limited options. The service was decent, if calling every day for 5 days to get an order through is accepted as an ordinary practice. Once my order was in, I didn't have to wait too long. So the delivery time was good, and Erie did a good job with that. However, I feel I was gouged on pricing. I had called the manufacturer first and they gave me a price range for where to expect the product at the very highest. Erie quoted 25-30% higher than what the manufacturer told me would be the very highest price. This added a few grand to my cost. I also ordered mortar for the job, and Erie sold it at a price that was 50% higher than I could've have got at HD or Lowes. I needed the mortar quickly, and I just ate the additional $50 it added to the over cost. But the percentage overage and pricing practice appeared to be indicative of, let's call it, "culture." Do you your homework and shop around when getting pricing from Erie."
