Stacks Espresso Bar is a cozy cafe located at 13 3rd Street in Troy, New York. Established in 2014, Stacks is not just a place for coffee and food, but also a hub for building community connections. With a passion for specialty coffee, we have been serving freshly roasted and brewed coffee, delicious foods, and exceptional service to our friends and guests for over a decade.
Our cafe offers a variety of catering options for all occasions, including office meetings, client presentations, themed gatherings, and parties. We provide everything you need, from coffee and espresso to pastries, sandwiches, and platters, all freshly prepared and ready to serve. Whether you prefer pick-up, delivery, or full-service catering, we have you covered.
In addition to our cafe services, we also offer wholesale coffee and equipment for those looking to start their own coffee shop or enhance their current coffee program. Our four locations in Albany and Troy are open seven days a week, serving a range of espresso drinks, cold brew, pour over coffee, and local teas.

"Does Stacks Espresso Bar stack up? That is the question on my mind this morning as I try a large cup of their Ethiopian blend. I have it black with no sugar. The roast promises juicy hints of plum and raspberry, and while it doesn't quite hit the juicy mark, it definitely gets points for being fruity-delicious... The reason why it doesn't hit the juicy sweet spot is that I'm not desiring more.... Thumbs up for the semisweet aftertaste! UPDATE: I've returned to Stacks Espresso Bar twice since my first visit on Sunday. I've since tried their cortado, espresso with an equal amount of milk to reduce acidity, and a large cup of their house blend drip coffee, black, no sugar. The cortado was on point, it was only my second time having one. It was very mellow and flavorful. The house blend is my new favorite, right here in downtown Troy, a 15 minute walk from my place. The blend is nutty and smooth, as advertised, and has a slow-sip-worthy bittersweet aftertaste, which I love..."
"What a great addition to downtown. They did a great job on the remodeling.. Bright and welcoming. Been there twice and got the "Babbette" sandwich both times. Brisket with "stewed" peaches on it,served on a baggett.perfect size.i don't enjoy oversized sandwiches. I only wish they were open until 4 pm"
"When you walk in it is nice and bright, well defined spaces. The beverages and food were delicious. I had a special peach cobbler latte and a salad with brisket and peaches. Great addition to downtown Troy!"
