"So I'm currently staying here over the weekend. Room is ok but the thermostat is locked. Came down for breakfast within the allotted time frame and there was NO hot food! The pancake maker didn't work and there wasn't any coffee! You could make toast or a PB & J sandwich or instant oatmeal. Nothing! Part of the benefit of staying here is for the HOT BREAKFAST! Service was terrible and barely spoke English. If you're looking for the HOT BREAKFAST benefit don't bother coming here."
"A $100 deposit EVERY TIME you want to extend your stay. Why is the initial deposit you give not enough? Why bother offering to refund it only to ask for it again? Especially seeing as you won't see that money for at least 3 days. No other hotel I have visited has a policy like this and it is price gouging. The hotel is nice enough (although getting someone at the counter is too long of a wait), but with this greedy policy there is no way that I can recommend this place and I will make sure to never stay at a Holiday Inn again in my life."
"I’m usually not a complainer but Mike needs customer service training. After working a 14 hour shift I wanted to try and book inside the hotel versus online for a possible early check in. I was met with rudeness by talking over me with every word I said. I can understand if I was super rude to him or whatnot but to be just met with rudeness as a first time meeting says a lot. Oh and $100 charge for incidentals if paying with a debit card which is understandable. But if I can’t check in until 4pm today(according to Mike the housekeeping staff are swamped) what’s the point of booking if my shift starts at 7pm tonight? That’s not cool to sleep at my job down the road when I can easily have an early check in. I feel an exception could have been made but oh well. I’ve already booked online for the remainder of the week so hopefully all goes well. And maybe just maybe I won’t have to deal with Mike rudeness the remainder of my stay."
"This was the most unprofessional Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival no one is at the desk. When I initially was entering the hotel there is a guys standing in a dark corner smoking. After waiting at the desk about 5 min that guy walks in and he is an actual employee! He does not wait on me but tells me someone will be with me in a few minutes. About 3-5 min later an employee exits the elevator talking on the phone - goes through the check in process on the other end of the counter. When it comes time to sign the paper instead of coming to where I was which the lower part of counter as I am short he said it was easier for me to come there. In the morning not one staff anywhere at counter as I sat for breakfast for almost 30 minutes. Completely crazy. Guest after guest walked out and no one is there. What is even more crazy as I have read review after review with the same observation, and I don’t understand why general management is not doing anything about it. I do intend to reach out and find the corporate office that overseas this particular establishment as it is completely unprofessional. And definitely below the standard of excellence you usually see. When I am down there for business, I will never stay at this location again."
"Bus arrived two times and passengers exited through the cloud of cigarette smoke from three employees standing in front of the "no smoking" sign at the front door. Front desk was vacant. Rooms did not have USB charger. Beds and pillows were great. Clean hotel. Breakfast was great- lots of choices."
