"Deplorable & overpriced & they will rip you off. They should rename it the Scam integrative sick center, is the opposite of a healing environment. Find another office if you want any kind of honest & humane treatment. Be careful, they will charge you upfront for services & then refuse to provide those services! The Stram scam center is deplorably unethical. They are unprofessional, uncaring & openly disregard & violate ADA law. They made me get a $750 consult just to do hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Then, made me pay another $175 to get my blood tests explained by the PA & didn’t tell me I had erlichia or treat me for it!! After my 7th hyperbaric oxygen treatments out of 20 recommended, I got an angry aggressive phone call from the office manager, Tess. I told her I was in the middle of another treatment at another doctor’s office. She refused to listen & got more angry & aggressive. By the way, I am a 51 year old diffabled lady & was very offended to be talked to in such a rude derogatory manner by a 20 Something kid with no manners or empathy. She accused my service dog of having an accident in their office, which was a lie. He has never had an accident inside. I told her there may have been a little water spilled from his drinking, but there was no accident. She said he was not allowed to drink in the office again. The treatments are several hours long, he needs to drink. Then she complained about muddy paw prints on the floor. It’s winter, I’m sure there are muddy boot prints as well. Am I supposed to mop the floor after I get my IV infusion therapy & Hyperbaric oxygen treatment at almost $400/ session? Then she complained the blankets were ‘disheveled’. I was never asked to fold the blankets before, I assumed & hope they washed them after each patient. The next day I get a letter from the office telling me I was discharged as a patient for not following their so-called ‘service dog policy’ when they violated federal law. Then they canceled the psych appointment which was supposed to be included in the $750 consult so I never even got what I paid for!!!! They also refused to give me the medicine that the PA said she would order !! After the nasty phone call from their office manager (The loch tess monster) complaining about muddy paw prints & my not folding up the blankets (as a patient paying about $400 / pop for IV & hyperbaric.. really???? You’re complaining about blankets & paw prints????). The next morning, I get a voicemail from Tess, saying I was discharged & to get my records & letter of discharge off the patient portal. I went to the patient portal To actually appeal my Unfair & illegal treatment with someone other than the bully, Tess. My portal account was no longer active, so I couldn’t talk to anyone. What a scam. So I found a new clinic to do the hyperbaric oxygen therapy because I still have 13 sessions left. The stram center refused to give me a referral to the other clinic. My new doctors sent over a records release form at the end of November and it’s almost Christmas now and they still haven’t sent it!!! Not only is all those extremely unprofessional & illegal , it’s also mean & has medically endangered my health. I have been sick for decades with tick borne parasites with a central nervous system/brain infection . I have almost died from this many times. When I came to their office, I was near death. I could barely stand up. I could barely hold my head up. To refuse to prescribe the meds they said they would do & to refuse to follow through with the treatment they recommended is not only unethical, but deplorable. No happy holidays here, and the opposite of a healing environment. I would advise going elsewhere: Dr Horowitz is good. I’ve been to 9 different lyme specialists & the scam center is the WORST. The Amen clinics offer hyperbaric oxygen at $100/ session!!!! Less than half of the stram center which requires a $750 or more consultation just to start!!!"

"The Stram Center came up near thetop of the list when I googles "free clinic near me." They are the opposite of free clinic. They don't accept any insurance and have extremely high prices. Also, the range of conditions they treat is limited and skews toward things they can persuade people to pay a lot of money for, sometimes with limited evidence of benefit."

"My daughter and I have been doing daily hyperbaric treatments for wound healing at Dr. Stram's office. He and his staff have been more than accommodating and have treated us like family. I can't say enough good things about the people here and would recommend anyone come here for treatment."

"We brought our 9 yr. old daughter from Ireland to be treated at the Stram center. Two hospitals, and many doctors had been unable to diagnose her. She had declined for several months. By the time we got to the Stram center, she could not move her limbs or hold up her head. We were terrified for her life. Dr. Stram LISTENED. He carefully diagnosed her, later confirmed through blood work. He treated her with a wonderful balance of antibiotics, supplements, and the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. The entire medical team was well equipped to deal with the severity of her case. She improved quickly and within several weeks she was taking a few steps. She has been able to return to the normal active life of a 9 yr old! Dr Stram saved our child's life, and gave us our daughter back. All the staff will forever be in our hearts."
