They gave me great suggestions on what would look good/what wouldn't look good and made me feel like they were not trying to upsell or over charge me. I took my dress less 3 weeks before my wedding because I left this for last second and I was struggling to find anyone who would or could do it in such short time as well wouldn't charge me 1000+ to fix. They were able to shorten my dress and shorten the straps as well as adjust them so my dress fit perfectly on my wedding day. Only coming here from now on!"

"I had my wedding dress altered at E&L Fashion. I sincerely appreciate how my wedding dress fitting was treated like any other kind of dress alteration. There was no fanfare or extra costs related to the fact that it was for a wedding (which is difficult to find, especially in NYC). The straps were shortened, the bust was taken in, and the bottom of the dress was hemmed. I loved the train but didn’t love the look of a traditional bustle. With some ingenuity and talent, she recreated the vision in my head of securing the train underneath to create the look of a ballgown. She was friendly, affordable, quick, and kind enough to help me problem-solve a small issue week-of the wedding. They also altered my husband’s suit! We will definitely be revisiting for any and all future needs!"
