"I was so happy to see that Hannaford had bought the old Shaw's grocery store building (couldn't have happened sooner) Shaw's is the worst. Such a breath of fresh air. I have been there 3 times since they opened, and I will say that it looks great they did a great job. I love Hannaford and enjoy the prices they have, and the team is friendly and very quick to be help. Great job Hannaford keep it up."
"Go somewhere else unless you just want a missing item or two. It is 5pm on a Monday, the deli is closed (even though it is supposed to be open), they have no hot food for the night (even though they should), the service desk is closed and it took several minutes to get help at the self checkout. Checking out a few items took longer than waiting in a line due to no employees too help. I now need to go to a second grocery store to finish my shopping for the week. Of course staff told me they have staffing issues as though that is no fault of Hannaford. Well, that isn’t the customers problem. Awful feeling when you cannot rely on your local grocer to have these services open. Seems like they opened this store prematurely before they have the staff and services in place for you needs. Very disappointed. I won’t come back here."
