They will recommend doing more research before you purchase some critter that you think you have to get that day. That makes it better for the both of you, making sure it will be the perfect fit to join to your family. We have bought stuff just because we had to have it that day and unfortunately we lost our baby lizard we bought because we didn't listen to what they had to say and us not doing enough research before making the purchase.."

"We bought a cockatiel from Family Pet in 2022 then made the drive up again from Portland in 2023 to get a ferret. Their animals are handled every day which makes them much more social, friendly and adjusted than pets bought from bigger pet stores. Prices were also much lower than our area, and customer service was very polite and helpful. We won’t buy small animals anywhere else!"
"I can only speak for my experience. We recently bought a West Highland Terrier. He’s a great puppy with good temperament and the vet visit went well. My point being he’s well adjusted and it shows he was treated fairly and humanely before we received him. I’m very happy with the puppy and the service I received."
