"Neglected to tell me they only had salads and smoothies before ordering. Let me pay and tip but then couldn’t offer a refund as the manager wasn’t in. Ok, I can have the understanding of that. Was promised by multiple employees that Mike the manager would call to refund me. Walked out paying in full with no food in hand. 5 + calls to them with no answer and no calls to me has prompted this review. Save your time and money and go somewhere else."
"I had to change my original rating...If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent visit was awful. I could hear one of the employees insulting me while the drive-through doors were closed. I confronted the individual by telling them that I could hear them. I didn't even get an apology from this person. Just a good 15 second blank stare. I also didn't get my order, nor did I want it now as this experience made me feel sick to my stomach. I think tropical smoothies company values have fallen short on the customer experience."
"I was in the area today and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. I searched the area and saw this place. I love smoothies and all things tropical so I was excited to see a Tropical Smoothie Cafe. After reading several reviews I was discouraged and decided to eat at a different restaurant as time was of the essence. However, after my daughter got out of her appointment and I was not pressed for time I decided to stop by and see if it really did take a long time to get my order and if the dining room was closed. I was pleased to find the dining room was opened and my order was finished in all of 3 minutes. I’m very pleased with the taste of my order as well. Great establishment. I will be back!!"
"Went through drive-thru. Fast service. Pleasant experience. Food was good. My only complaint is a major one though, paper straws!! After about 3 minutes of the PAPER getting wet it collapses on itself and starts to fall apart. Paper comes into my drink and now I can not finished the rest of my smoothies 3/4 full because the paper straw is not functional. Paper straws are useless!! I will not go back if that's the only option. I did ask for a lime straw but they were all out. This was before I even knew they switched to PAPER straws!! What a useless invention!! PAPER!! It can not get wet!!"
