"The show "Romeo and Juliet" was performed with gusto by a group of young teens with a smattering of adults. Using words from Shakespeare they brought the tragedy to life. A great performance."
"Comfortable seats, intimate setting. Friendly staff excited to still be in business after three decades. Bit of a hidden gem. Brick exterior entrance brilliantly designed with a "drawbridge" entrance to the bare bones interior entrance that might simultaneously be called the lobby, and set construction workshop. Simple snack bar inside the searing area open before curtain with popcorn, cookies, and cider. Quality performance."
"Steamer 10 is a lil gem with a lot of talent, hidden in a strange part of Albany that people don't seem to know much about. It's tucked away inside an old church, and consistently shows edgy, strange, and different shows. There is a program for children to learn theater, directed by locals who have all been educated in the arts of theater. If you're looking for a place to give your children a taste of theater on the best scale available in Albany, this is the place to go."
"Although this is a small theatre the shows are great. They have a series of eclectic theatre pieces that are thoughtful and interesting though may not be appropriate for children. They also serve concessions for a good price during intermission for cash only."
