"23 years latter!!! I’m still here thanks to Dr. John Mastandrea, MD!! Would not be alive if he had not been one of the largest parts of the team! Throat cancer, did I not look good for me!! With a stealth surgeon and the craftsmanship of Dr. John’s eyes, hands and his calculations he maneuvered the radiation machine in the most perfect location to radiate my tumor that was in a very difficult place to get!!Several of us who had Dr. John see each in passing and always stop and talk and he is always part of our conversations!! Has been there over the years to answer any questions and give a helping to all of us!!!"

"In August 2010, Dr, Mastandrea saved my life. He challenged the judgment of doctors at Johns Hopkins Hospital and persuaded a surgeon there to reconsider the thought that there was no hope for me. I was so grateful that he convinced the Hopkins surgeon to give me a second exam and then agree to treat my endometrial tumor. In November and December 2010, I underwent radiation treatment at the Regional Cancer Center in Easton, MD. Then I began to recuperate under the guidance of Dr. Mastandrea. Over the years he has watched over me and encouraged me. His concern and direct advice have meant so much to me. He has answered my questions and told me if ever I have worries to call him. I am comfortable meeting with Dr. Mastandrea and deeply appreciative of his care."

"Told me I needed radiation. I went to Balt. For 2nd opinion and they said there was nothing left to radiate. He is behind times on research and NO BEDSIDE MANNERS. Examining females without a nurse is not good practice."

"I cannot thank Dr. Mastandrea enough. I have been facing brain cancer since 2014 and, thanks to him, I am still here today. He found tumor that my previous doctor overlooked and he provided the best possible care for my case. I have now been receiving clear MRI scans for over two and a half years. For my type of cancer, many would say I am very lucky, but I would say that it is because I had my care under Dr. Mastandrea. Thank you Dr. Mastandrea."
