Art League of Ocean City

"This was a very fine gallery, I am hoping to have a piece or two of mine hung there at some time. The staff was very friendly, and a long-time friend whom I have not seen in over 25 years was installing his artwork of black barber shop conversations. This will be a spot a will visit whenever I am in Ocean City. Oh, I also saw some of this galleries art hanging in the Princess Royal Ocean front hotel. Niceeeeeee!!!!"

"What a pleasant surprise. Very interesting 30-minute stop. Art ranging from hobby-pro to very impressive pieces. Beautiful, well lit gallery. Many different wall formats (oil, watercolor, pencil, mixed media, etc.). No admission fee."

"Small but impactful art museum. Quick walk through with lots of variety of art mediums and examples. Very pretty fixtures and decor. There were rooms on the second floor seperated for artists. And all of the pieces were available for purchase."

"We stopped here on our last day and it was a beautiful experience for us. The gallery was plentiful and had some very beautiful art work throughout the gallery. Staff were so nice and there were some wonderful local artists on display too. It was nice to see lots of paintings of ocean scenes too! Definitely worth the stop to relax and take in some art. Many pictures available to buy from the local artists too. Highly recommend you stopping by!"

"Although I have been to Ocean City many times over the last 60 years. I had no idea that it had such a wonderful league of artists and such a beautiful way of showcasing them. I am so pleased at the new building for the Art league of Ocean city. Everything is new and crisp. It was built from the love of arts. It’s huge with two floors of galleries and workshops. A number of classrooms and offices. Clean restrooms and a spectacular view. After finding it and enjoying the gallery we signed up for a glass. The sign-up for classes was easy. We did it in person but it could be done on the phone or on their beautifully designed website. We enjoyed the two hour fused glass class. The instructor was very fun and informative. Actually we were the only two in the class. Assuming because it’s summer people have other plans. It was like a private class. They have a schedule on their website of all the classes and events, as well as a Facebook Page of past events. You can find many types of arts, from glass, ceramic, painting to jewelry, simple clothing, & greeting cards. Their small gift shop area had unique finds. This will definitely be a go to stop whenever we are on the Eastern shore."
