THE GLOSSARY NAIL SPA

"Not going back - this was the worst manicure I ever received. The woman who did my manicure was also manning the register and apparently running the place. Let's start with the fact that there was no heat in the space except for their space heaters. It was frigid. She sat me down and soaked my hands in a bowl of cold water, almost immediately took my first hand out to start the manicure. She looked up every 30 seconds, paying much more attention to other things in the room than she did to my hands. She was in every conversation between clients and manicurists around us. She did an okay job trimming my cuticles. The polish I chose looked fine, but apparently was old. She did several coats, and put a top coat on. In the time that it took for her to do this rush job, she got up no less than five times to check out clients, take their money, and I would wait five - ten minutes in between because their connection was so slow. She just left me sitting, while wearing the same gloves to check them out and come back to my manicure. This place is NOT cheap, and so after all of that mess, when my nails started chipping in less than 24 hours, I knew my money was truly wasted. Don't bother with this place."

"Nice spa. This particular time here, I walked in, asked if space was available. The manager replies yes, and I had to wait 30 mins. After 35 mins 3 ppl came In together, asking about services. The manager then told me I would have to come another day. Because she did not check the book. My husband had dropped me off, and proceeded to run errands. He would have also figured he would have to come pick me up in an hr. I had to sit the hr and wait. I’m upset not because of the nails, but the disregard of my time. She could’ve just said she couldn’t accommodate me."

"Never have I ever gotten a more terrible mani. The girl who did my pedicure was great. The older lady that did my nails was careless, clearly she was in a rush then put such a thick coat fast dry even after 15 mins sitting and drying I got the result in the photos. What a waste of money and time. You should do better, this is disappointing to say the least for a place in a town center!"

"The place seemed like a pretty upscale establishment, and the ladies were nice, but very inattentive. Every salon I’ve ever gone to, the ladies help you bring your belongings from station to station, or at least, not sit someone where you were just sitting and especially if your belongings are still there. The place was not busy or crowded at all, so when I moved to the dryer I downs it really weird that they sat someone where I had just been and didn’t help me bring my purse or shoes. I was a little shocked. My moms pinky and ring finger polish got smudged on the way to the dryer, which isn’t a big deal. However, I asked them to fix them at least 4 separate times to please fix it and each time they just came and repainted over the messed up nail without removing the previous polish or fixing it. It was only regular polish, not gel or anything special so they should have just taken it off and repainted it. Every time I asked them to fix a nail, it seemed like another got smudged too. Her nails just look like a lumpy mess, and the she has polish on her skin too. All told we were at the drying station for over an hour and between all that, her nails just kept getting worse. When we went to walk out the door, I saw her thumb and most of the rest of her nails were big time messed up too. I was so irritated I didn’t even leave a tip, and I ALWAYS leave a tip. It was over $100 for a mani and 2 pedis which isn’t terrible, but considering my moms nails look like they were painted a week ago by a toddler, that’s unacceptable."

"Love this place! I’ve been going on and off for about a year, but have just recently started seeing Kimmy for my dip manicures. I’ve never had a bad experience with any nail tech here, and always leave with a manicure that pleasing to my OCD! However, I’ve started setting up appointments with Kimmy for her amazing nail art/design and dip work. Not to mention her amazing cuticle work! She’s the best at making my ideas come to life while also encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone. She is very meticulously and always asking if everything looks good. If I have a problem (which is rare) she’s always willing to fix it… that is, if I catch a problem before her! She’s very kind, fun to be around, and personable. I recommend this place and any nail tech here, but I especially recommend Kimmy! See photos to check out some of her work!"
