The Bellmoor Inn & Spa

"I stayed at the Bellmoor Inn in January 2024. After looking at the website and reviews, I was excited about my stay. Here are the pros and cons based on my experience. Pros: The lobby area is as pictured on the website. I happened to be visiting during a cold snap, so the fireplace provided a warm, cozy welcome. The front lobby area is spacious. The front desk was helpful and friendly during my check-in and throughout my stay. They also have a texting service you could use for any questions which was quick and convenient. The complementary breakfast was great. There a large variety of options available. During the weekend, the dining area gets full but the staff was quick as clearing tables. In my opinion, this was one of the best perks of the hotel. There are plenty of parking options, including a small underground parking lot. It can provide protection of the extreme heat and cold. Cons: I was given Accessible Deluxe King room. I didn’t need or request the ADA-compliant room. While I appreciate they have these rooms for those who need it, I would have preferred a standard room. The bathroom felt outdated, including the shower. One the positive side, the room was spacious and included a desk (I was here for a work trip). A couple other notes: outside of breakfast, the hotel does not serve food for lunch or dinner. There are a lot of nearby restaurants around that are within walking distance. The hotel does have a small bar area. Also, I would have appreciated a gym. Given the size of the property, I think having a gym would be an added bonus. Since it was winter, I didn’t have access to the pool and didn’t use the hot tub. I also didn’t use the spa."

"I have been going the past 3 years. I didn't have the same experience as the years before. The room was the same all 3 times but was run down. The mattress has a huge dip in it. The shower head would leak while trying to fill the bath tub. The staff all seemed to change over and I don't feel they were the same as years before. The breakfast is always very good but I feel it was not the same as the years before. The coffee was so strong I could not drink it. It was very clean like usual. Not sure we will return unless mabe we get a diffrent room on the 25 plus floor."

"What a nice place this is. We rarely have the chance to get away, but were able to schedule a getaway for our anniversary. We found the property beautiful and well taken care of with warm and cozy social areas with working fireplaces that made the cold wave during our stay more bearable. The included breakfast was amazing and was served in a beautiful open room that looks into their attractive courtyard. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was updated and well appointed. Every employee we had contact with during our stay was friendly and helpful. I am generally not a picky person but I can’t think of a single thing that spoiled our anniversary stay. We even found a great place nearby to play indoor Pickleball (Dave Marshall’s Tennis and Fitness Center). We hope to schedule another visit here before the busy season kicks in!"
