People who are upset that she doesn’t return calls—she does for her patients. This week she made time for us for an emergency same day and has checked in several times since."

And you aren't paying for someone to sit and play boardgames with your kids- or over-medicate them."

"I am here to echo the reviewer below me. I was recently referred to her by a number of practictioners, including her responsive (well, I was lucky - she picked up the phone) colleague and neighbor, Dr. Balint, who even left a message to Dr. Mallenbaum on my behalf, but Dr. Mallenbaum has multiple voicemail systems and doesn't give her patients and prospects the decency of a reply. It's disgusting. I left multiple messages expressing desperation, even saying "if you can't take patients, just let me know! Please please just call with some sort of update!" Not a single response despite her receiving numerous calls over at least 2-3 weeks. Doctors like this should be stripped of their licenses. They aren't doctors if they leave the patients with unresolved issues. Thanks Dr. Mallenbaum. You've gotten 1 star from me and 1 star from Marisa because you seem to be a nonpracticing doctor. Or you're too busy to give a damn. Which is just rude."

"This individual was recommended to me by one of my doctors several years ago, whom I shall not name because I respect her too much. I left several messages at her office asking her to contact me and she NEVER had the professional courtesy of returning any of my telephone calls. Recently, I was referred to her again by a different doctor, whom again I shall not name, and again I left several messages and Ms. Mallenbaum NEVER returned my calls. I will not refer to her as a doctor because she does not fit the mold of my definition of what a doctor is; professional, respectable, dedicated, caring, loyal and devoted to their patients and the medical field. She does not deserve to be called a doctor when she displays such unprofessional, rude and unacceptable behavior towards the colleagues that recommend her and the patients that are in desperate need to find a doctor for their child who specializes in a particular area of medicine. She should be ashamed of herself! And, if money weren't an issue, there are way more better doctor's out there than this one!! REALLY!!!"
