"We had the aged porterhouse for two, creamed spinach, grilled octopus, and fried artichokes. Everything was amazing! I have to say, I judge extremely hard when it comes to steaks. It better be a 5-star steak if I’m eating out, and not making it—and Primi in West Islip made me very happy! It was even juicer, and tastier than Blackstones (even though they are good, too). Can’t wait to go back! PS the Blue Cheese Stuffed Olive martini was delightful. I usually can tell when olives at sat in the condiments container at the bar for too long. FRESH."

"Primi is the best restaurant on Long Island by far. Everything here is fresh, and tastes better than anything you’ve ever eaten. Even simple things are just done right and taste better than the norm. My family loves coming here, and although it’s pricey, it’s worth every penny. Blows every restaurant nearby out of the water especially Teller’s, I’ll never step foot in that dump again. Servers are always so friendly and amazing. You can tell the staff and owners are attentive based on everything from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service. I always get the cacio e pepe and the brownie for dessert!"

"My first visit to Primi was on a recent Saturday evening. I was warmly greeted by the valet parking attendant, and again by the staff at the entrance. We were celebrating a birthday and the service was efficient and accommodating. The highlight of my meal was a perfectly prepared bone in 20oz NY Strip with peppercorn sauce on the side. Halfway in, I told myself to stop, and to ask to have rest packaged to take home. It was so good that I finished it all at the table. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience."

"Finally tried this place after work. Great service and food. The grilled octopus is a must try. Super flavorful, perfectly cooked, and not rubbery as most restaurants tend to overcook octopus. The bartender, Alyssa, was very attentive and witty, and provided top notch service. She checked on my date and I frequently and kept the drinks coming. Atmosphere is very classy and the crowd was full of young to middle aged professionals. Great place to take a date. Def recommend 10/10!"
