"Most horrible experience in my life. This location recently has a new manger name Angel he will call you threatening you, hanging up the phone shouting like a 3 year old that didn’t get his way. The staff is extremely unprofessional it’s hard to communicate because the staff have strong Spanish accent and can’t properly interpret what’s your saying in English. This was my second account with rent a center and I’ve learn a very valuable lesson “ NEVER AGAIN DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF “ I hope this review helps someone make a better choice that I wish I would have made. The fact Angel was speaking to me like it was his furniture he paid for it mind you I’m one payment away from being paid off, talking about “I’m coming to take my furniture”like he owns it not rent a center HORRIBLE . But God is able and he is working miracles out Angel came in my path because god needed me to help someone else who may encounter an Angel . He doesn’t need to be working with anyone’s customers"

"I’ve been with Rent-A-Center for over 12 years and I’ve never had any issues with them at all because I used to deal with a girl name Abigail who was an amazing sales person. Now the new sales woman I don’t like how she runs things. Now I know I was two weeks behind and I know that’s my fault but for them to go and charge my card without my authorization it’s unacceptable at the end of the day if you’re going to do something like that you need to reach out to the customer and let them know what is being done. Rent-A-Center supposedly lives by a code of conduct which says that they’ll work with you no matter what but at the end of the day this Rent-A-Center in Knickerbocker Avenue has gone down drain it’s not as good as it used to be . Like I said I know I was behind but that still doesn’t give them the right to go into my account charge my card and not let me know about it which is very deceitful . All they had to do was call me and let me know instead of basically going behind my back doing it without my authorization . Didn’t think they would do this !!!!!!!!"

"I have ordered from rent a center from a marvelous chap named Carlos he did an excellent job with bringing the package to my door and setting up what I ordered, while speaking to him on the phone he made everything understandable, no questions was to big or small for him. He took time to understand my needs and answers my questions quickly and efficiently and is very knowledgeable about his job and explained things very well and is friendly if need anything speak to Carlos he’s you’re guy."
