Ashley Furniture Warehouse

"( 0 STARS ) Ordered a pullout couch with chaise for almost $1900 in December 2022. It never came and was offered a different one for the same price in February 2023. I accepted as my daughter needed to come stay with me after surgery. I received a broken couch. Wood popping through the fabric because of the dislodged corner wood block support and the back support that the back pillows are attached to is broken in half so the back sags. I sent pictures and I was promised an exchange..it is now the end of May 2023 and still nothing. It was ordered through Bad Boy furniture in Ontario and they just keep give ng me the runaround delaying me every 2 weeks and now another 2 weeks. I am disabled and am so stressed out. I never thought it could be so hard to buy something and get what you pay for."

"From day 1 there were issues with my order of Ashley Furniture through 1StopBedRooms. Some days after my order I received a voice message from 1StopBedrooms to call and "confirm my order". My call back consisted of a rep telling me I needed to add on bed support slats for a low, low price of $250. This was confusing to me because all other furniture retailers I researched stated the slats on the very same bedroom set are included. I inquired about cancelling the whole order but was told I would face significant restocking fees, so I kept the order active. When the bed set arrived, sure enough, the support slats came standardly in the box along with the bed rails from the manufacturer. This is how the Ashey furniture warehouse always boxes and ships them, there is no separate order for the slats. At best, 1StopBedrooms was being unethical. At worst, this may be a violation of law the New York AG might want to look into. 1StopBedRooms doesn't seem to have their own delivery trucks and personnel, as my deliveries arrived from Ryder Last Mile. They arrive in a big Ryder box truck, drop off the items, and get right out of there. It is a very different from the professional experience I've received in the past from local furniture retailers that have dedicated delivery teams. After finally receiving the full delivery on a Saturday morning, we were dismayed to find 2 of the 6 pieces with serious damage and 1 piece a completely different color than the rest. See pictures. I called 1StopBedrooms and received an automated message stating business hours are weekdays only and to call back. Monday morning I called back and the rep I spoke to initially said all damage/issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or they can't do anything about it. Can you believe they tried to end it there? I said no, delivery was on a Saturday and your customer support center was closed. After convincing the rep not to discard my claim, they requested multiple sets of pictures over several days asking to see the damage from difficult angles and from close up and far away. I must have sent 20 pictures. For the nightstand they sent a replacement part for a damaged leg assembly but it was the wrong part. I fixed that piece on my own with some spare screws and materials I had on hand. Seems OK now, it probably won't tip over on the kids. For the footboard decorative panel, they wouldn't replace it and suggested I fix it myself. I bought superglue and glued it together in 3 places. Do you want to superglue your new furniture together? I sure didn't. They gave me a $100 credit back, but that isn't much on a multi-thousand dollar furniture set and I'd much prefer to have intact furniture. It took almost 4 more weeks for them to deliver the correct bed rails, after we spent a month sleeping on a mattress on the floor. 1StopBedRooms, Ashley, Ryder Last Mile, all seem to want to point fingers at each other over why so many issues occurred. As glad as I am to finally be sleeping in my glued together bed rather than the floor, I would NEVER order from 1StopBedrooms again. I'm on the fence about Ashley Furniture. The bed set is attractive, but seems lacking in quality and sturdiness."

"They seem nice and are generally better than the Ashley salespeople, but just don't waste your time with this company at all. We were told our furniture was at the warehouse ready to be picked up. Later that week we spent the whole evening disassembling our current furniture and moving it out. We left the the next morning to drive to the warehouse, called them on the way as they asked us to, and all seemed well. Three minutes later they call back to say they just discovered some of the furniture was damaged, and since one piece was damaged, we couldn't pick up any of it. Why wouldn't you check that before telling us it was ready? No offer of even a partial refund to compensate for our wasted time."

"I've waited 5 months for my furniture. They finally came yesterday and tried to deliver BROKEN furniture. They tried to convince my husband to take it. Never going back!"

"Bob sheen Vice President of the company is a very rude & inconsiderate individual. I explained to him I’ve been waiting for 3 pieces of furniture since august 2021 it’s January 2022 I’ve paid items off and paid delivery fees and have not received Any . Also, on the day of my delivery date they call me a hour before delivery to state “one of their drivers have been injured” . I would assume it’s a warehouse you have multiple trucks plus extra drivers NOPE…so NOW I have to wait AGAIN to hear another excuse day of delivery . I REGRET PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY AND WILL NEVER DO SO MOVING FORWARD ! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE THE DISRESPECT THE WASTED TIME AND WASTED MONEY AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE . THIS DELIVERY COMPANY, THEIR WORKERS AND EVEN CORPORATE HAVE NO CONSIDERATION FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE SPEND MONEY AND PURCHASED ITEMS FROM THEM !! I EVEN AGREED TO A SPLIT DELIVERY BECAUSE OF HOW LONG THIS PROCESS HAS BEEN .SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS BECAUSE THIS COMPANY WILL NOT EVEN WAIVE A DELIVERY FEE OR COMPENSATE A PERSON WHEN ALL THESE MISTAKES AND DELAYS ARE ON THEIR BEHALF"
