"We had very good food, well made and presented. The choices were inspiring and the service was perfect. Why wouldn't I go back? The noise was unbearable. We've gotten used to loud restaurants but last night was over the top. We arrived early in the evening and the sound level was bearable. We could carry on a a conversation with my son and daughter in law but as the place filled up we were shouting and not hearing each other. The guests were one thing but the lousy, loud and inappropriate music piped through ceiling speakers made the atmosphere horrible. WHY did they have to add music? Why? In spite of the very good food and service the loudness of the bad music was the first thing that we talked about when we left and could hear each other speak. Please, stop the extra noise."

"At TAO, the food was delicious, but the service was a bit slow, likely due to it being a busy Saturday night and not having enough staff. The restaurant has a nice, comfortable atmosphere. The dishes were both tasty and beautifully presented. The server was quite pleasant when he attended to us, but the wait times were long. Overall, the great food stood out, but they could improve on the service side of things."

"I want to make it clear that the food was pretty decent. However, I was not happy with the service. I came to have dinner with a friend of mine and neither of us felt very cared for. She asked for a ginger ale and our waiter forgot about it which is fine. But when we tried to get another waiter's attention he deliberately ignored us. Then when we needed our bill our waiter was not around. I tried to ask the other waiter to come to our table and he ignored us again. I definitely do not think I will be returning unfortunately. However I do hope that for future guests, the staff improves on their customer service."
