"The restaurant was gracious enough to seat us at 9pm on New Tears Eve without a reservation. We were in town for the night on our way back to Canada and had no where to eat. Our waitress Carrie was absolutely phenomenal. Great service and so kind. And of course the food was to die for! We got shrimp scampi and the truffle mushroom risotto. Yum!!!"

"The place is... nice. I had read the reviews before going, which were split right down the middle. The experience of eating there was described as either amazing or the exact opposite with nothing in the middle. "Terrible service" was the biggest complaint in the reviews I read. It was my birthday, and since everything else was pretty much closed on Warren Street, the day after Christmas, I had hoped for good food and would've settled for " decent " service. I was hungry! Well, we had to summons the server twice in the 20 minutes we were there, and that was BEFORE ordering. She seemed more content with hanging out and chatting in the back with other employees in spite of the very packed house. She was not courteous or service oriented at all, but worse, she couldn't have cared less!! We waited forever just for the bottled water we finally ordered and when she finally brought it, she plopped it down on the table rudely and walked away... Never thought to ask if we were ready to order even though she knew we'd been there a while. We watched her serve a table of 6 who came in after us, then more chatting... we had to request her again. When she finally came, she wasn't in the least apologetic for making us wait AND was surprised when we told her we were ready to order. When she was announced that she was out of what we wanted to eat, we were done and left! This restaurant is giving Soho in New York City vibes with service not even suitable for a fast food joint. So beyond disappointing!"

"Delightful, busy, loud (in a good way) tight and yet spread out little restaurant. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. Seasonal risotto dish with scallops. Can wait to return and try the regular menu."

"Great lemon drops, beware. Make sure you order heavily sugared rims. All the staff are personable and know their menu and are spot-on with suggestions. Large portions, easily shared!"
