"I happen to love this hardware store. The order is so friendly and so willing to help. There's been more than one occasion where he has not had the item in stock and he went in the internet and found it at another store or he had the item in stock but he told me where I could find it cheaper. You really don't find that many people who who will go out of their way to help you. "Found out about this place via Google. Wanted to patronize a local hardware store near where I live instead of going to the usual bigbox retailers. I went to Elmsford Hardware for the first time this past Saturday afternoon and the store was actually closed. So much for convenience. The proprietor should either make the effort to post their hours on their Google page or invest in a website."
"Adequate little neighborhood hardware store. Contrary to other reviews, I have not found it overpriced--sure, it might be a touch more than a big box store, but it's quicker in and out. It's small, though. If you want supplies or tools that are common, and don't care much about selection, this is a good place to go."
