"Don’t buy a high ticket item from this store. Gave this store another try for a sale on a NEW refrigerator. Unfortunately the one they sent was open box.. not used but had been delivered prior and returned because the French doors were not aligned. The delivery people pointed out to me that it was not in a box and there was tagging on the unit indicating restocking at the warehouse. After requesting a new fridge be delivered they mistakenly refunded credit card and called to ask us to repurchase the item. 5 months ago from this store we tried to purchase a riding lawnmower… Hard to find a person that knows what’s going on. The selling process of the mower seemed new to the staff. Positive news that the mower was delivered to my home quickly. But the mower was dirty, missing parts and most concerning the keys were missing. The manuals and direction all crumpled and torn, obvious signs they were once wet. Called store and been on hold for 20+mins. Got a person that told me it was an “as is sale” not a new unit, which was never communicated to me. Why a person would buy a lawn mower with out keys is beyond me. They scheduled a pick up of the unit and a refund."

"Bought a thermostat that didn't work and tried to return it the next day. The serial number on the thermostat doesn't match the box (might be why it didn't work). They will not let me return it. I "could have taken it home and switched it". For another brand new unit that is the same as the one on the box cover? Is this a thing? I'm trying to figure out where the profit would come for me to do that. At any rate, because they will not take back a $32 dollar unit, and there is a Home Depot down the road, they have now lost thousands of future dollars from a former patron. I'm sure they deal with illegitimate returns all the time, but check my account history, and realize the right move here."

"This store is beautiful but offers no help - what a shame. You’d better know exactly what you’re looking for when you enter this store because you are most certainly on your own. I have been in this store only four times due to the lack of service. The flooring section is especially terrible - the first time the individual working kept taking phone calls and walking away from us as we were asking questions. Second time there the individual we asked for help walked away from us and never returned. Third time was the only time we received help as we only needed to know where a certain product was located in the store. Our fourth time here recently we were in the flooring section again and the individual working in this section couldn’t be bothered to help answer our questions. We waited patiently as he was helping another couple and when it was our turn he pointed us to an aisle and then went to help another employee. I would rather travel further to Home Depot to receive help and answers to my questions when I go into the store. Needless to say we will be doing our home flooring project with Home Depot instead, due to lack of service received from Lowe’s."
