"I ordered Halloween candy that was on sale this morning online at 9:00 am to be picked up at 6pm-7pm. The app showed the amount available in the store. The money was taken out of my bank acct this morning immediately. I assumed that the candy would be pulled early in the morning, considering the stock was low and put aside. 5:30, I get an email that there will be a delay in processing the order. Unfortunately my husband already left work to pick the order up for me. He got there around 6 or so and went up to a register where 2 employees were talking (no customers around, maybe 3 cars in the parking lot) and asked for the order. They hadn’t pulled it yet. He waited in the store at least 15 minutes and they ended up giving him 1/3 of my order, saying the other items were out of stock. He questioned it, because the money was deducted this morning from our acct and the employee told him that nothing was deducted yet and that he was wrong. There was a withdrawal of the $41 from this morning and a reversal of $41 now in my back activity. No explanations, no apologies. The store was a mess, not stocked. The employees were less than helpful. This was the first time using the app, using the ordering to be picked up option and the first time at this store. I have deleted the app and will not go back. It was out of the way for my husband to drive but the prices were worth it. It ended up being a waste for the little bit that I received. If I knew I wouldn’t get most of my order in advance, I would have cancelled it and not wasted the trip. I feel like my order should have been treated the same as if a customer walked in at 9 am."
"Absolutely love this store. Great for picking up things that you need! I come in here often to get my toiletries and some lunches for work. Although barely anything in the store is a dollar, it's still fairly priced. I hope this store never goes out of business!"
