"The Paradise Theater was an amazing concert venue that Rc&a Heart & Soul Concerts Productions, Raymond Chandler, and Charles Leake were the primary live 70’s Classic Soul concert promoters. They presented groups like The Whispers, Temptations featuring Dennis Edwards, Blue Magic, Stephanie Mills, Delfonics, The Dells, and so many more. Their were always sold our or close to seating capacity. The thing the people appreciated was the convenience to the surrounding NYC boroughs, especially Bronx residents. But also Upstate and New Jersey. If it was to return as a live concert venue, with Rc&a Heart & Soul Concerts Productions, now Heart & Soul Concerts Productions, we are confident that it would immediately return to its past Grand Concourse Bronx NY venue glory."

"My review of this place is not reflective of its use as a church. I used to go to this movie theater with my father when I was a little kid. But this place holds great memories for me. My father used to get free movie passes from his job back in the 70s and 80s if I'm not mistaken. Very classy and beautiful inside. To me this place is a landmark for those of us who grew up in Morris Heights and Highbridge."
