Whether you're looking to study, work, or migrate to an English-speaking country, we have the right English test for you. Our tests assess your ability to listen, read, write, and speak in English, ensuring that you are well-equipped for any language challenge. We offer the IELTS test, which can be taken either on a computer or in a paper-based format at our Sandy Bay and Newnham campuses. Additionally, we also provide the Pearson Test of English at Sandy Bay and the OET English test for medical professionals at the Newnham campus every two months.

Convenience is important to us, which is why we conduct tests throughout the year at our centres in Hobart and Launceston. As the only testing facility in Tasmania, the University of Tasmania is your go-to place for English language assessments.

Furthermore, our recognition as an official testing centre means that the PTE Academic test is accepted by thousands of universities and colleges worldwide. It is also recognized for visa purposes, making it a valuable asset for your educational and career aspirations.

If you're a healthcare professional seeking to register and practice in an English-speaking environment, we offer the OET English test specifically designed for your needs. This test assesses your language and communication skills, ensuring that you are well-prepared for your profession.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm at both our Sandy Bay and Newnham campuses. You can find us at the AW31 Building 40 in Sandy Bay, and our Newnham campus is conveniently located within the Launceston City Council area.
