Welcome to Campbell Street Primary School, located in St Hobart, Australia. We are a vibrant and diverse school community, dedicated to welcoming and supporting families from a wide range of backgrounds. At Campbell Street Primary School, we believe in guiding students as they develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. Promoting our values to all students is of utmost importance to us. Aligned with the Department of Education's values of Aspiration, Growth, Courage, and Respect, we also include the value of Empathy to instill traits of concern and care for the wellbeing of others. Throughout the year, we have a Whole School focus on each value, acknowledging students who embody these values and providing consistent support to maintain a positive school environment.
We highly value strong partnerships with families and encourage parent/carer participation in school events, classroom experiences, and class excursions. All parents/carers automatically become members of our School Association, and we welcome participation in all meetings and related activities.
In addition to our academic focus, we also have exciting events and activities happening at Campbell Street Primary School. Our latest issue of our newsletter is out now, and orders can be placed through the LOOP app or www.scholastic.com.au. We also have a disco coming up on Thursday 28th September, and parents are encouraged to join the planning team. Please note that access to our bottom building has changed, and the Book Week Parade is happening next Tuesday 22nd August, where children are invited to dress up as a book character and parents are welcome to attend.
