"Lowena has so many good reviews hmm..I beg to differ. Kevin is a jolly chinese operating this popular inn. Good breakfast & coffee etc.! Some of the rooms not so after spending time there and speaking to other guests not up to scratch and dont book the villa queen 'makeshift' room. No window ventilation gaps in walls and you can hear rats scurry about at night. The toaster was old and dirty and things were generally grotty. How this place gets past regulations is beyond me. Im sure some of these glowing reviews are dodgy."
"Bright, airy and clean room with a very comfortable bed. Caring and attentive host, Kevin looked after me very well. He organised taxi's for me, carried my bags up and down the stairs. Breakfast was generous with lots of coffee available. I would certainly recommend anyone to stay at Lowena Café and Accommodation. I will book again to stay here next time I stay in Hobart. Thank you Kevin for making me feel so welcome. Jill O'Shea."
"Stayed a few days. Really loved the atmosphere at breakfast time. Kevin is so friendly and helpful. Room was a little noisy being on the main road, but not enough to be an issue."
