Warren and Katy, the founders of Drumbala, believe that anyone can play a djembe drum if they can walk, count, and clap their hands – it's that easy!

At Drumbala, we offer 8-week beginners and intermediate courses, as well as community drum circles and workshops. Whether you're a child in school or vacation care, an adult group, a ladies group, or even someone seeking drumming therapy for special needs children and adults, aged individuals, or those with disabilities, we have something for everyone. We also cater to team building events, weddings, and birthday parties, creating an atmosphere of joy and excitement with our djembe hand drums and percussion instruments.

Everything in this world has a rhythm, including us, and Drumbala has created rhythms that are easy to understand yet dynamic and fun to learn. Drumming not only provides a creative outlet but also serves as a great way to meet new friends and become part of a community.

One of our specialties is drumming therapy for children and adults with special needs. Over the past 16 years, we have facilitated drumming and percussion therapy workshops throughout the Central Coast, Sydney, and the Hunter Valley, NSW. In these workshops, the drums become the main form of communication, with Warren and Katy holding the foundation of simple and upbeat rhythms.

If you're looking for a fun-filled activity for vacation care, we offer drumming playshops. We bring djembe drums and percussion instruments to your location for a 45-minute session where children can learn easy rhythms, play drumming games, and experience interactive and creative group expression with rhythm.

Drumming birthday parties are another unique offering at Drumbala. Celebrate your special day with a dynamic and fun-filled drumming experience. We bring all the required drums to your venue, allowing everyone to interact, have fun, and learn to play an African djembe hand drum. We also provide percussion instruments so that all can join in and accompany the rhythms.
