Welcome to Brisbane Water Secondary College Umina Campus, a dynamic and comprehensive 7-9 high school located in Umina Beach, Australia. Since its establishment in 2002, our college has been dedicated to providing age-appropriate teaching and learning environments for all students.

At BWSC Umina Campus, we believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive community where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated Principal, Kerrie Thomas, along with Deputy Principals Jessie Heighington, Damian Purins, Susannah Murray, and Kathleen Short, are committed to ensuring the success of every student.

We understand the importance of open communication between parents and the school leadership. While our Senior Executive Staff may have busy schedules, we welcome the opportunity to meet with parents when necessary. To ensure a convenient and efficient meeting, we recommend scheduling appointments in advance by contacting the school office.

Our college offers a range of exciting activities and events throughout the year. From educational field trips to sporting events, we strive to provide enriching experiences for our students. Some upcoming events include a Mathematics workshop, Careers exploration day at OURIMBAH TAFE, a PDHPE session for Under 15s girls league tag students, a Dance performance at the Seymour Centre, and an Agriculture excursion to various farms and livestock exchanges.

We also take pride in participating in Education Week, an annual celebration of NSW public education. This week-long event recognizes the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students. We encourage parents and carers to take part in this celebration and provide valuable feedback on the draft plan for NSW public education shared by the Department of Education.
