Welcome to Outdoor Explorers Pre-School, located in the picturesque countryside of Derryharriff North, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Our preschool is designed to get children outside, exploring and discovering the wonders of nature.
Our experienced and qualified staff encourage children to learn through play and exploration, using the great outdoors as their classroom. As an institution committed to children's development, we provide a secure and nurturing environment for children to grow, learn and thrive.
Our curriculum is designed to stimulate children's natural curiosity and love for the outdoors, promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We use unique learning experiences such as gardening, bird watching, trips to local forests and streams, and other outdoor activities to build children's confidence, self-esteem and independence.
At Outdoor Explorers Pre-School, we believe in the power of play and the importance of learning. Through play, children develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills and learn the fundamentals of sharing and cooperation. Our highly qualified and experienced staff are passionate about providing children with a fun and safe learning environment that is tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
