"The most spectacular walk. You can just walk to the lough or head up the ridge on the left to the top and circumnavigate the lough, returning down the opposite ridge. It’s very edgy on the way up. Either way the views are stunning especially on a fine day. Could do with a signpost or 2 from the carpark. If the carpark is full don’t park on the double yellow lines on the main road, you will get a ticket."
"Great hike for experienced hikers. Can be quiet steep in parts but very enjoyable with great views. Best on a clear day as cloud cover can come in very quickly and you will miss the best views. Approx 8.5km from carpark around the loop and back. Allow 3.5 - 4hrs"
