"The therapist Pat Dermody is excellent. The reception team is not. On one of the first instances I was in touch them, I questioned the practice of ringing for payment straight after a session. The receptionist Lorna went on to defend her actions because "surely if I was in the practice in person I would have been asked to pay on departure". Well no its not, because if I was in tears in the room I don't think that anyone would have asked for payment in between my sobs. A simple bit of compassion and offering to take payment in advance would have been sufficient. Today I called to reschedule one of my appointments only to find out that my therapist was gone for over 4 weeks. I attend weekly appointments and they are scheduled one month in advance. When I asked Lorna in the future to let me know if my therapists is going to be away for long periods of time in advance I got the same defensive attitude from her. She said that they have a lot of patients and can't be keeping tab of everyone. I suggested myself to get another therapist onboard, literally offering to myself the customer care I wasn't getting :)"

"I found Hazelton clinic through ADHD Ireland website. I rang few clinics around and the waiting lists are impossibly long. Hazelton clinic was the soonest appointment I could get and was happy with the services they provided me with"

"I had my first appointment with psychiatrist Dr. Julio Gonzalez last week. At first I wasn't sure about video consultation, but I am glad I did. Dr. Gonzalez is the nicest and most caring doctor I came across in a long time. He gave me so much information about my specific problems and struggles. I learned sooo much about myself in that hour. Could not recommend enough."

"I have seen Pat Dermody at the Hazelton Clinic several months ago as I suffered from severe panic attacks I was not even able to eat. Pat has performed EMDR therapy which gave me big relief instantly. I have added private session that open different prospective for me and helped me on healing journey. I am very grateful, I would recommend Hazelton clinic lovely staff and great professionals working, I felt cared, supported and guided."

"I recently went for assessments for adhd which overall became a distressing experience for me on conclusion. While I cannot fault the conduct of the staff who were lovely and informative as I was going through the process, the overall assessment experience was poor. Having a complex medical/mental health history, which was relayed on my first consultation in as much detail as was requested I was put forward for the assessment. The questions were Yes/No and offered no ability to apply context. I emailed saying this, that I would like to speak to the psychologist about the answers, this was disregarded no one responded. I called and explained this and was again told that it would all be resolved, which never happened. I then spent the last week chasing the assessment results, which I was assured would be done prior to my pre-booked psychiatrist appt. The assessment results that I received 3 hours before the appointment was as though it belonged to another person. Nothing in my initial consultation was taken into account, and several red flags were raised with them when I called in shock at what I was reading, only to be told that it was my own fault. My appt with the psychiatrist was similar, while he was a nice man, who maybe had a better view of things once I explained myself, resulted in me in tears being told I would need further tests (which I have done previously with other providers and relayed to them) and another assessment obviously at great cost to me. It's also worth mentioning he is not based in Ireland, it will be over zoom, and from what I have now learned the cost going forward with what he's recommended would be astronomical. I have been left disregarded and dismissed whilst also being over 1000 euro out of pocket. Had I looked on social media prior to this I would have known that this was not the place for me, a very expensive lesson to learn unfortunately and deeply distressing."
