"I just returned from the 8 Day Explorer Tour through Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. It was everything I had hoped it would be, and so much more. What an opportunity to experience some of Ireland's most scenic and varied natural beauty AND learn about history and culture while walking, hiking, and biking in just the right balance! I would highly recommend BEYOND THE GLASS ADVENTURE TOURS to others who favor a smaller group tour and a more active approach to tourism, and who believe that a local tour operator can curate an far richer experience than any tour book could ever accomplish. James Foley, founder of BEYOND THE GLASS ADVENTURE TOURS, was our driver and guide for all 8 days, although some other local guides and boatsmen were also engaged to enhance the client experience at various points. James' integrity and commitment to assuring the best experience for his clients was evident at every turn. I am already thinking about when I might return and partake in the 6 Day Adventurer Tour of the Northern stretches of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way..."

"We did the 8 day cycling and hiking Wild Atlantic Way adventure with James and loved it. The three days of cycling were breathtaking with beautiful scenery all around and interesting stops in between. The hikes were spectacular along coast lines. We also had a couple of guides on hikes that were very knowledgeable about the area. James knows all the sights to see and has interesting facts and stories along with history of each one. We would arrive early to various sites and we beat the crowds so we could get great pictures. We were the first ones to arrive at the Blarney Stone along with other places which was a real time-saver. The hotels and restaurants James selected were all excellent. We heartily recommend using Beyond the Glass tours for your Ireland adventure."

"If experiencing the best of irelands Wild Atlantic Way is on your bucket list, James Foley and Beyond The Glass Adventure Tour is the way to go . James has perfected adventure travel. He knows where to go to provide some great outdoor hiking and biking experiences, that end with wonderful local food and are topped off with small unique nighttime accommodations that don’t disappoint. I will look to organize another trip sometime soon!"

"My husband and I did a 5 day hiking trip with Beyond the Glass. The excursion was well-coordinated, the selected lodging was great, background/historical information was insightful, and we felt like we got a "behind the scenes" look of South-Central and South-Western Ireland. The hikes are for those of above-average fitness levels. (I swim, run, bike, and lift weights regularly and was challenged at times). Hiking times ranged from 3 1/2 to 6 1/2 hours long (I skipped the 6 1/2 hour hike up and down Ireland's highest peak as I needed a rest day after the first two hikes). Some days it rained/misted the whole time and some hikes include rock scrambling up/down steep descents. That said, I would recommend this trip to those who love a physical challenge. What I liked most about the trip was the variety of scenery and experiences. James, our guide, really wanted us to experience the outdoors of Ireland from different vantage points."
