"So delicious we ate here our last two nights in town! Prepare to slow down, relax, and enjoy! We were in a rush the second night, so maybe we were somewhat at fault for feeling the service was not as exceptional as the first night. We arrived early the first night and enjoyed a discounted early bird menu - still items from the main menu at a discounted price. We chose the hit and spicy pizza and the buffalo chicken wings appetizer. Both were perfect, and we had a lovely visit with the owners wife, also our server. The second night, she was not there, and the server we had was delightful but was not as efficient as the owner's wife. The second night, we enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese and a cup of soup. Bith evenings we enjoyed a homemade white chocolate raspberry cheesecake that was devine. For the finish we enjoyed lemoncello shots! While we were on holiday and may never have the opportunity to eat here again, we highly recommend you try it if you are in the area!"

"I was craving for Italian and thought to give Empoli a try. The service was good and the place got a nice calm vibe. For starters, we ordered fried brie and chicken wings with buffalo sauce. Bith of them were yummy. For the mains, we had a pesto pizza which was a first time experience for me. It was delicious. We ordered pesto fettuccine and it was an average pesto pasta. Another thing from the mains was the Bolognese pasta. I totally loved that. It was exactly how I like it. The serving size of the place is generous."

"The restaurant looked nice but the reserved table was not available when we went there. There was a huge waiting time for the food to come out. At least more than an hour. The waitress informed us that one of the chef did not come in but none of the customers got food on time. The lasagna i ordered was fine but the pasta was average. Overall the experience was not upto the price given."
