"We usually have the carvery at the ‘Louis’ and are never disappointed. The food is always fresh, plentiful and hot. It’s also reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Karen, who always remembers us and makes sure we’re happy with everything. However busy she is, she always makes time to chat to her customers and makes everyone feel very welcome."

"It’s always got an element of a gamble but recently it’s always been great for us. Not too expensive and good food ready to go. Sometimes you might not get a table, sometimes you might be waiting for a while but typically if you have the carvery it’s a safe bet you’ll be well fed and leave feeling full and happy. Sure it’s a little run down inside and if you go during a busy spell the tables might still have food on them or be a bit sticky but if you don’t mind the gamble then it’s pretty good. Been about 5 times in last 2 months and each time had no issues and been good"
