Medivet 24 Hour Dartford

"Our kitten - who is an indoor breed had a sore eye, probably caused by a stray claw during play. Having seen this before in our cats over the years we knew some eye drops would be needed. My wife took her to Medivet and low and behold blood tests were requested and a bill for £287 was delivered.... and yes they came home with eye drops! Ridiculous, especially during the current cost of living issues people are facing. Why not try eye drops first and see how they go, instead of going straight to an expensive option?? Ask if its an indoor or outdoor cat, ask if you have other cats and have they the same symptoms. Just awful."

"The practice is too busy, they cannot cope with it. Appointments always late. Months of misdiagnosis and a credit card bill of £850 and counting, my cat still isn't better. We're 4 months and 3 vets in, 2x £130 swabs to determine that the infection is treatable with most antibiotics, even though they're not working, Can't really fault the actual vet, he's been great since taking over. Although still seems out to make as much money as possible, telling me it's cheaper to get a prescription and buy medicine online was great, except didn't tell me I'd be charged £30 for the prescription hence making it more expensive. I'm really not impressed at all, money grabbing, no solutions to make you go back."

"The best vets I have attended. The reception team are so lovely that includes the emergency reception team too. The vets here are so thorough with the examinations. Leon has been brilliant with my pug Doug who has had an eye ulcer. The care and examinations that he has had have been fantastic. I waffle on quite a lot but the vets here are so good at informing you of why they are doing certain things etc and are happy to listen to you. Well done Medivet Dartford your hard work is very much appreciated by Doug and Doris who you look after splendidly."

"Would’ve rated 0 but that wasn’t an option. Called asking for an emergency appointment for my rabbit & I was told I have to get medical records from my old vet. Which is all well & good and I understand that but the problem with my vets is that I can’t get hold of them AT ALL! I explained this to the reception and she quite frankly didn’t care. Considering I was on the phone for ages and the automated voice was saying we provide support for you and your pet… well that was far from the case today. I was happy to pay for private and emergency but never mind. Disgusting service today!! Will be making serious reports. Also looks like they pick and choose who they want to see! Reading the reviews some people can book an emergency as a new customer without having to give medical history. & others get refused for no reason because we have to get medical history. Why do we have to give details when others don’t have to follow the same procedure? Is it some kind of discrimination against my rabbit cause it isn’t a dog or cat? Or could it be an age this as they feel old dogs are a waste of time! This is based on what I’ve read on the reviews. Please send me your email. I will give contact details so we can discuss this further. Will also be making sure that any of my family or friends who are under your vets will find a new one! Don’t want them to have the same let down that I received today."

"Medivet in Dartford is an excellent vet, my pet Milo got spaded yesterday 28/9/22 and from booking the appointment to Milo having her Op it was a very smooth transition.
